I have a bunch of unopened 80 min CD. Will they work in my hi-fi?
Thank You
Most modern cd players will accept 80min cd-r media. Only the older one's may have trouble; I have a 10-yr-old Philips player and a 7-yr-old Alba model - both have no probs at all.
Happy burning.

Yes, 80 minute CDs will work - I've even seen an 80 minute disc being used for a normal AUDIO CD (Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot dog Flavoured Water).
However, you may have problems with 90 and 99 minute discs as some readers and burners will not accept them.
