Does anyone know how to get around a copy protection that was on a MP3 from House of Blues? Its works for 30 days then you have to go back and re register. I would love to keep a copy on a cd but can't get anything to copy it!
I assume you mean an mp3 music file dude! I aint gonna tell you how to take out the regi clause cause that's naughty, but if you have a sound card and a wave editor then just play your mp3 through your card and re-record it through a wave editor and all you will be left with is an audio wave less any ristrictive data.

Boy what a freakin deal this has been! I ran out of here and went to my favorite file share locale to obtain a wave editor. Yeah no problem! Got one and got a nasty virus named W32/BleBla. F@#$**! It nuked my registry but good. So after some research into the issue and about 5 hours later (I haven't backed up my reg in forever) my system is back functioning ,more or less. So now to business. I go to start the file in question from HOB and the damn thing won't play anymore! I tried to DL a fresh file from the fatherland(HOB) and all I get from WinMediaPlayer(turns out it's a WMA file) is an error that the file needs a license to play(no kidding). And the site I get it from only states that their recordings will register themselves the first time you play it! SO now I have a hashed system, and no damn file! But I am really good at registry issues now! Oh well I guess I didn't need it that bad eh!

Thats bad luck my friend, but it's always good to be in touch with your own registry. See if you can play the wma or mp3 direct from the site, you know, from there resident media player or through realplayer or somthing and you may get away with them streaming it rather than downloading it, then you just try the same thing record through your sound card.
