the only i know is (and this is how i did my mp3s on my hi-fi) to use a dvd and run it through your hi-fi but your dvd must play mp3s or make into wav files but you could only fit on about 15-20 songs or buy mp3 player and plug it into your hifi

U have more then 1 option:

1) There is a external player build by TEAC. For around 500 bucks, i think. Connect it 2 your hi-fi as normal and enjoy up 2 170 songs on 1 disc.

2) Simply connect your soundcard 2 your pc.

3) Buy a Dreamcast and download DC_MP3. Now u r able to run mp3-discs on your dc!

4) I heard the DVD-stuff, too! Doesn't work 4 me. Maybe u need an extra format (like cd-xtra?).

Iv'e seen cd walkmans that can play MP3 files as well as VCD movies!

Dunno if the sound quality would be as good as a domestic model, but these walkmans cost less than $120 U.S. over here in the UK

I have a LG DVD player 3350E which has phone and scart outputs and I use it to play MP3's on my seperates HIFI. I only rip MP3 at 190 and above and cannot tell the difference between the mp3 version and CD versions when i compare.

I can recomend the LG to anyone, it can be made to go region free by entering a code via remote and is imune to all anti region free protection as it is a programed testing feature done at manufacter and so is about as perfect as you can get. The quality for DVD and music is first class and can be bought for around £150 at Dabs.com
