rpg games and mod-chip devices question??

I plan on buying the ps-x change boot disc or the game enhancer external mod chip for my psx. My question though is; which would be better to get in regards to playing multi disc games such as The final fantasy series, Legand of Dragoon, chrono cross,etc?

Go for the external modchip it is the best by far , and you will have a much better chance at playing multi disk games

Personaly i wouldnt recommend the external mod due to amount of problems they cause with booting, especially with multi disk games but each to there own!

I hav'nt had any experience with the PS-X-CHANGE disk but i would have thought this to be a far more reliable way to have successful gameplay. Although your backups will still need patching where a protection exists.

I would personaly recommend an internal mod chip either stealth or normal, these give far better results when installed correctly, but the downside is you would loose any warranty left on the unit!
