I need to know if it's possible to make a backup of a ps1 cd that is self-bootable.(no-mod chip or action replay).I would greatly appreciate any advice anyonw would offer on this

I am aware of the CD you are talking about (PS-X-CHANGE), but NO you cant just copy it, because it is a pressed cd with information layed down on tracks that are outside the reading capabilities of a CDRom drive the same as all PSX games (This is the whole idea arround a mod, the mod chip gives the psx the information required to fool it into thinking its booting an original).

If you were to copy this CD you would end up having to mod your PSX to get it to work.
