For the LAST time!
There is NO patch.
There will NEVER be one if Paradox are the only ones to attempt it.
Paradox have NOT been able to make a working patch for ANY version they have released for. (Just like all their Spyro 3 patches were useless!)
The ONLY way is with 100% compatible CloneCD hardware.
If you do not have the hardware - do not even bother!

My cd-writer does not work with clone cd and i was wondering if I was able to get hold of a working copy of Final Fantasy 9 off someone else would I then be able to read it with blind read as normal and the succesfully burn it???!

As I already said above - the only way to copy this is with 100% CloneCD compatible hardware.
This also means that you need 100% CloneCD compatible hardware to make a copy from a Cloned copy.

But then, how are you supposed to use the copy (or even the original) if your PS is chip-mod'ed?

Or is this method (CloneCD + 100% compatible hardware) only available for unmod'ed PSs or PSs withe xternal chipmod?

I'm getting lost on protections, damnit! xD
