I purchased a chip for the same model from Modchip.com; but they didn't even send me freakin install docs for the damn thing and won't reply back to me for tech help....check out there site, they do post photo's and I think I might have enough info to start soldering; but I just wanted to make sure I have the pins right before I bust on it....also try gamechip.com they have fairly decent photos and even some tech documentation at their site...and you might want to hold off and see what consolsoure.com will be coming out with....(they might be the ones worth waiting for) anyways, those are the three on the top of my mind that you should go visit....good luck

The ONLY modchip that they supply is for the ORIGINAL Japanese PS2.
It will not work on any other PS2, not even the newer Jap ones.
You have all done your money like so many others have.
There are enough postings on this, all you need do is a search.
