problems making backups?

I am using cdrwin to make backups of my psx games, but they are always read as audio cd's, I do have a modchip. When I look at the layout of the copy it looks the same as the original on the computer. I have followed the steps to making a backup from goldenhawk's page. I am using imation discs, could that be the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

if u tilt your playstation when the cd is booting that may help other than that get some good quality cd's
