I downloaded Paradox's release last night (twice!), and verified it's integrity... The CDI seems fine...

But, for some reason DJ3 hates it. It tries to load the CDI and then crashes. I get a VB Runtime error in the main DJ exe. It also tells me about some DLL error... I think it is MSV something .dll... It's the only CDI that I have ever had this kind of problem with... Anyone have any suggestions?

I did find out that this is the PAL UK release... would that effect me in any way since I am in the States???

Thanks for the help!

try to reinstall dj cause it could be corrupted. or have you tried after that bad crash to burn another cdi that will work?

no i donīt think that it has to do whith the uk relese, because you only burn data, dj has no regional restrictions

Thanks for the feedback Scorp... Yea.. I tried to reinstall DJ... No luck! :(

I even looked in the nfo, and they used the same version of DJ that I use... maybe it is just a bummed copy.

I will download the echelon US rip.

bummer.. argh!

make sure you are using at least dj3.00.500, as dj3.00.736 does not let dj2.0 images be burned in dj3.0

If all else fails, get CDMAGE and extract the .CDI to your hard drive. Then use Echelon's self-boot tutorial to burn the disc manually.

Another possibility is that you could just build an ISO and use the newest BIN2BOOT file (http://dcxeal.virtualave.net/b2b-cdda-b1.zip) and build a new .CDI that should burn with DJ without any trouble.

also it could be that the cdi the rippers made has errors, whitch corrupt any burn. yes, try to use the us release, good luck
