There are very few ways to obtain "backups" for your DC:
1) Buy a serial slave cable/DC Coders Cable or something like that and rip your store-bought, rented, etc. DC games. A rip like that takes almost an entire day.
2) Download the ISO images of the games off the Internet. Do you not ask where to obtain these, the moderators do not view too kindly of that sort of thing. On a 56k modem this method can take almost an entire day as well. ISO images are generally around 650 to 700 megs.
3) You CANNOT just stick the store-bought, rented, etc. DC game in your burner and copy. It is physically impossible with the current state of technology in burners.
Read the FAQs at F-ckSega and InternetConvoy... someone should be along soon to post the links to those sites.

Pick one.
DJ
Adaptec/Roxio Easy CD Creator
Nero
CDRecord
CDRWIN
Every damn burning program under the sun.

So with CDRWin I can make copies of copied Deamcast games I was under the impression CDRWin wouldn't work.

You can use CDRWin/DJ to make images of the backup CD, then burn the image like you normally do to a blank CD.

The only thing I know how to do is copy playstation games so I'm not exactly a genius when it comes to making backups so any way how do I make an image.

I know it's more complicated to do in CDRWin, and since I no longer have had a need to use that program since pre-self boot days. Use DiscJuggler, when you fire it up, a window of operations should appear, if not hit New. Scroll down until you see CD -> Image. Fairly simple to use and understand.
It should be done in about 6 minutes usually. Then either burn it inside Discjuggler, since .CDI is the propriatary format of Discjuggler, or use CDI2Nero or CDI2ISO and use Nero or CDRWin or Easy CD Creator to burn it to a blank CD.

So after I make the image with Discjuggler what do I do I just burn it to a cd or what do I need to use CDRWin to make the copie I'm sorry but I'm a bit confused I really really appreciate the help.

Once you got the image, it will be in Discjuggler format, .CDI. You can burn it in Discjuggler, if you have an unregistered copy it will burn at 1X, about a 1 hour and 10 minute process. That's why I suggested using something like CDI2Nero or CDI2ISO conversion programs, since neither, CDRWin, Nero, Easy CD Creator, have burning speed locks like Discjuggler does.
You can find CDI2Nero and CDI2ISO on the main page, www.dccopyworld.com under DC Utilities.

Ok I understand now thanks for the help I really appreciate it
